We are a Not for Profit Company (NPC) founded by Mr Madoda Joe Sibanyoni also known as “Mr Joe Ferrari”. We exist as a special purpose vehicle founded to lead the subjects of transformation of the lives of black people of South Africa. We have noted with grave concern, the day-to-day socio-economic challenges faced by our black South African brothers and sisters, from unemployment, unemployability to marginalization. We have heed to the calls and the resounding cries of our people and have resolved to move with intention and vigor, in the quest to changing the living conditions and economic prospects of our people.

Mr Sibanyoni established a founding board that converted his dream into a brand that is Joe Sibanyoni Foundation (JSF). JSF is under the leadership of dedicated, diverse and motivated members of the Board both executive and non executive, who have sworn to deliver on the mandate of the Executive President. The ultimate goal is to transform the lives of the needy baring in mind that, in order to achieve such, we need to start by empowering and enabling all men and women who are able bodied. We lead the subjects of infrastructure and enterprise development to ensure that our community is endowed with economic power, large enough to spare benefits for the needy.

Mr Patrick Moraka is a renowned self-made entrepreneur with traceable history in the field of leadership of community transformation initiatives. He brings into the foundation, a selfless leadership stile which has been tried, tested and refined in over 22 years of being in business. Mr Moraka was hand-picked by the Executive President to found and lead JSF because of his and the Executive President’s aligned outlook on issues of transformation of the lives of black South African.

Over and above presiding over the board of JSF as the Chairman, Mr Moraka is a director at 2 other companies that are involved in the social and infrastructuredevelopment sectors. He is mostlyknow for his work as a stakeholder engagement specialist who led to the successful delivery of development projects such as Mall of Thembisa, Katlehong Crossing Shopping Centre, Eyethu Shopping Centre in Soweto and Soshanguve Mall which will be opened in October 2024.
